Hi Experts,
I'm trying to understand how to use the BIST function in the AWR1843,
but the documentation is not clear for me and no APIs are provided.
Would you please provide sample code to run BIST?
Best Regards,
Chunzhou

Hi Chunzhou San,
BSS does the internal test (BIST: built-in self-test) by itself at boot time. Status of this can be known by rlGetRfBootupStatus API.
Sample code is available in mmwavelink test application (link_test.c).

Hi Chunzhou-san,
MSS and DSS is user space; in case of AWR1843 the user can write required test by their own to do those tests.
AWR1843 bootloader does the boottime tests and if any of those fails then instead of switching to application it raises nError line high as notification of test failure. So if application bootup correctly that means boottime test by MSS bootloader passed. List of these tests are mentioned in the safety manual and in ICD document (SBID 0x5000).

Hi, Jitendra-san
- Does [AWR1843 bootloader does the boottime tests] include both MSS and DSS tests? Or is it only MSS test?
The register of [SBID 0x5000] seems to include only MSS modules.
- Does the user need to create DSS boottime test program?
