HDC2080: AC and DC analysis information required

Part Number: HDC2080

We are using HDC2080 temperature sensor in our product. We are doing AC and DC analysis for HDC2080 before starting schematic. Some parameters are missing in the datasheet of HDC2080.

Please share these parameters for HDC2080.

We also need I2C timing analysis for HDC2080. Please share.

    As these devices are I2C slaves, no outputs are specified. I2C slaves have no voltage output since SDA line is only pulled low by the device and pulled high by pullup resistor, VoH would be your bus voltage, possibly with the pullup resistor affecting this value somewhat. (IoH and IiH same)

    Input leakage as defined by I2C spec is max 10uA...the HDC2080 has a sleep current of 50nA, so I think the leakage would be even less than that, and well away from the limit allowed.

    We need set up time and hold time for I2C interface for HDC2080. It is not given in datasheet.

    the setup times are following the I2C spec for Standard and Fast-Mode. 

    I will ask about the hold times -  we must be at least meeting the characteristics given in the I2C spec here generally, as we have not encountered any issues with MCUs that folks have been using with these parts for several years now - but I will ask to make sure.

    Dear Sonu - 

    after looking at the characterization data, it appears that most all of the hold times are well below spec, one or two might be close to the spec, but still within. 

    So - i think using the I2C spec values will work for you in this case.

    It will comply with the I2C specs for Standard and Fast mode - the characterization showed it was better than spec.
