FDC2114: About FDC2114 schematics

Hello,

Regarding to schematics on FDC2114, my customer is asking a question.

(Question)

They will refer FDC2214/2114 EVM schematics for design.

Each(FDC2214 and 2114) schematics and PCB layout are same.

My understanding is correct?

    Hello Tao,

    Yes, you are correct. The only difference between the FDC2214 and FDC2114 EVMs is the populated FDC device; the schematic and layout are otherwise identical.

    Please note that the FDC2212 and FDC2112 EVMs do have slightly different schematics and layouts to account for the fewer channels on the FDC devices. These EVMs have a separate user's guide and product page, so your customer does not need to worry about confusing the two unless they are evaluating both 2-channel and 4-channel versions of the parts.
