Hi User,
Could you please share your chirp config.
Thanks
Yogesh
Here is the cfg file, thanks.

Can i change the cfg to disable 1 antenna and MIMO? perhaps this way it will be better in detecting cars in long range. thanks.
Hi,
Yes, you should be able to disable MIMO to increase the range. How-ever I am still not able to understand the high level requirement here. Are you trying increase range with better resolution?
You can reference the chirp config used in traffic monitoring lab:

Thanks

Hi,
I wish to monitor the traffic with IWR1642 in ROS demo. But one object produces two pointclouds with MIMO configure. how can i fix this?
Second, i try to disable one antenna and use 1TX 4RX mode by changeing "channelCfg 15 3 0" in cfg file to "channelCfg 15 1 0" , then the sensor stop working.
Does out of box demo support 1TX 4RX mode ? if so, how do i enable it?
Hi,
you can set the config for 1TX and 4RX.
You choose that antenna config in the mmwavevisualizer and download the config to PC.
