Hello TI sensor Team,

I am working on a project where I am responsible for the interface between the AWR1642 module to user FPGA .i want to get the raw data from the AWR1642BOOST ,then send it to the FPGA and process the data。

i know the DAC1000EVM board can get the raw data,but i dont know how to send the data to my FPGA though the DAC1000EVM board ,or how to get the data from AWR1642BOOST directly.

Hi,

AWR1642 provides LVDS interface which you can directly connect with you FPGA if that has capability to capture over LVDS.

Another option to feed DCA1000 ethernet to FPGA, in this case you need to parse the received data at FPGA end, as DCA1000 adds few header bytes to raw ADC data. Refer documents from mmWave Studio for data formatting and from below link

my FPGA board has the capability to capture over LVDS,how can we get the raw data from the AWR1642 directly , i am responsible for the interferce between the awr1642 and FPGA in a project ,so i dont want use a DCA1000EVM,

I have already looked for many document ,but dont find what i need until now .can you give me some available example or document that get the raw data from the awr1642 directly.

Hello,

If you look at the mmwave demo application (part of the mmave SDK package) , it has capability to enable the raw data transfer on LVDS interface of AWR1642. You can use that application and then interface your FPGA to receive the LVDS signals.
