I am currently using an NTC thermistor, what changes do I need to make in order to use a TMP61, TMP63, or TMP64?

  • TMP61, TMP63, and TMP64 are footprint compatible with 0402 and 0603 packages, use the same biasing circuit and therefore will not require a board layout change.  If using a lookup table (LUT), you would need to input the new Resistance-Temperature(R-T) table values that can be found in our Thermistor Design Tool. If using a curve-fit equation, the tool provides all the coefficients and example code to minimize your design time.
