Hello, TI engineers. I am using the IWR1642 DEMO board.
Is it possible to remove two TMP112AIDRLR on the IWR1642 DEMO board? ?
Are these data used to trigger anything in the software?

Could you please confirm that this is possible?

Those are the temp sensor, why do you need to remove it?

I am worried that removing the sensor will cause unexpected behavior.

・ Purpose of mounting temperature sensor
(What temperature do you intend to measure and control?)

・ Is the temperature sensor described in the data sheet (7.1 Monitoring and Diagnostic Mechanisms) a temperature sensor built into the chip?

Hi,

The temp sensor is for measuring the external temp, like that of the EVM. The datasheet only contains information about the components of the IC and other external devices. The temp sensor reference in the datasheet is built into the chip.
