I am looking for a Hall-effect IC switch that will be used in a back-application (I guess this IC switch must be unipolar to be used with a permanent magnet and a ferrous gear) that has two square outputs shifted 90° in order to measure rotational speed and direction. I know this signal type is called as quadrature output.
I can see that this DRV5032FD has two outputs but I am not sure whether one output will respond to positive field and second output to negative field. If this is correct, does TI have an IC with quadrature output?
Thank you and regards.
