IWR6843AOPEVM: Using 3 Tx antennas on the IWR6843AOP with C674x DSP

Hi all,

In the past post (https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/t/898997), I have considered 3 Labs -- vital signs, high accuracy range measurement, gesture recognition -- and have confirmed that these labs support IWR6843AOP with C674x DSP.

My signal processing algorithm uses 3 Tx antennas to scan both elevation and azimuth angle, but the labs above only use 2 Tx antennas.

I modified the labs to use 3 Tx antennas, but a BSS event (CPU fault) is triggered and the system downs and could not use it.

Are there any solutions to use 3 Tx antennas on the IWR6843AOP with C674x DSP?

Hi Woonggy,

Would you be able to post a screenshot of the full error you are seeing? Are you stepping through the code via CCS Debugger? Can you point out where in code this failure is triggered?

Dear Akash,

Sorry, I found that there were some codes that I wrote incorrectly.

By modifying them, the sample project (Multiple Gesture Recognition) now uses 3 Tx antennas properly.
