I have a doubt regarding the proper definition of the _ssub2 intrinsic.
Here: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sprui04c/sprui04c.pdf?&ts=1589265905740 I see that the parameters needed are unsigned integers, while the underlying
SSUB2 assembly instruction seems to operate on 2's complement numbers as stated here: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spru732j/spru732j.pdf?&ts=1589212729698. From this it seems that the two parameters shall be int instead of unsigned. Moreover Flexelint complains about using unsigned as parameter types instead of int.
I am a bit confused here to be honest. Can someone please help me to understand the proper data types to use?
