Hello

“The best way to do the temperature compensation is to use a reference coil.”
The above explanation is written in the TI document, but I would like to know specifically how to use the reference coil for temperature compensation. In the case of LDC1612, does it mean that Ch0 operates as a detection sensor and CH1 operates for correction?
I would like to know the temperature correction algorithm.

Hello,

We do have a document describing techniques to use temperature compensation using LDC100x devices and also describes effects of temperature on system performance. https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snaa212a/snaa212a.pdf?ts=1591293909489

As we know that the Fsensor is a relationship of Frequency of Clock and As Fsensor is a function of L and C. Using teh Fsensor frequency with no target variations can be accounted for.I hope this helps!
