IWR6843ISK: modified chirp parameter to become sensitive for small movements

Part Number: IWR6843ISK

Hello ,

I would like to test ISR6843ISK with 'Sense and Direct HVAC Control' using modified chirp parameter to become sensitive for small movements.

I am fine if you can provide a set of CLI commands as you did in the past.

  • Hi Taka,

In the chirp I showed in the linked thread, I increased the idle time to increase doppler resolution (but decrease max velocity). You could try something similar with the Sense and Avoid HVAC demo. Chirp programming is described here: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra553a/swra553a.pdf, and the CLI commands are described in the mmWave SDK user's guide. You only need to change the profile CFG and the frameCfg. (May need to increase frame period to ensure there is enough time to chirp and process).

    Regards,

    Justin
