Part Number: IWR1642
I have a EVM which use a IWR1642 Radar and I want to use it offline. I have already installed the "silicon cp210x driver" and it works perfectly on the online plateform (https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/mmwave/mmWave_Demo_Visualizer/ver/2.1.0/). Then, I downloaded this plateform to use it offline but it doesn't accept the driver other than Texas Intruments. So, I tried to put manualy the XDS110 drivers to the 2 COM ports but it never works. The drivers of silicon is autommatically recognized by the PC but not the TI drivers for the COM ports.
Do you know how can I fix it please ? Thank you in advance.
The IWR1642 EVM does not have the CP2105 onboard, so the drivers have no impact on the EVM working / not workinng. You need to install XDS110 driver and ensure you have the EVM set up correctly

Hello, Thank you for your reply.
If my EVM does not support the CP2105 driver, so why the Radar work perfectly on the Demo visualizer with SDK 2.1. When I leave my computer to set-up the driver of the 2 COM ports automatically, windows propose always the Silicon drivers and not the XDS110 TI drivers that I already installed. Therefore, I change manually for the XDS110 drivers but it not recognized the COM ports on the online demo visualizer.
Thank you in advance.
In reply to Jean Challet:
Are you using IWR1642 or the IWR6843AOPEVM?
IWR6843AOPEVM includes the CP2105 USB to UART
Yes, It's a IWR6843AOPEVM. The EVM is recognized with the CP2105 drivers on my computer and on the demo visualizer the Radar work as a IWR1642 with the 2.1 SDK.
What rev of the IWR6843AOPEVM are you using?
What do you mean by "rev" ?
