Hi,

I want to collect the imaginary and real information of 1D-FFT at a frequency of 20 times per second.

But there is no way to get only the imaginary and real parts of 1D-FFT from mmWave Demo Visualizer. If the point cloud image is collected, the output frequency is too low.

Can you give me some suggestions?

Hello,

You need to send these results from the application and for that you need to change in dss_main.c and mss_main.c file as object cloud points are being sent over the UART.

And I'm not sure how visualizer will behave with this extra output data, so you can use TeraTerm or another serial terminal to capture this data over COM port.

Hello Yunlong,

Visualizer work over UART, and capturing FFT result at that speed is not possible for UART. But you can stream that data over other interface: CAN/SPI or LVDS.

For CAN/SPI you need to modify the application and have compatible tool on PC to capture this data.

Hello Yunlong,

CAN is 1Mbps, CANFD upto 8Mbps with the transceiver we have in AWR EVM.
