Hi team,
I'm not familiar with hall sensor. Could you help check below items?
Could DRV5055 replace MLX90290LUA? or do we need get some further information?

Roy,
These devices are pin to pin compatible, but have slight variations in the sensitivity options. The sensitivity specification determines what magnetic field is required to produce a full scale output. In both devices this will scale with the supply voltage. While some sensitivity options will match, any replacement using a different value will require a change to system calibration.
Many specifications for the two devices are quite comparable. However, DRV5055 does have a 1 mA higher quiescent current, but also shows better linearity, Linearity error for MLX90290LUA is 1.5% where it is 1% on DRV5055.
Thanks,
Scott
