TMP116: Pin/Pad Plating

Part Number: TMP116
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS124S08

I have a customer in need of more detailed information in the NiPbAu plating used on the pins/thermal pad of the TMP116 device.

The Material Content Lookup shows this device is plated with NiPbAu.

Questions:

- The pins/thermal pads are plated with NiPbAu. This covers the bottom surface of the pins. Are the "walls" of the pins plated as well, or bare copper?

- If the "walls" of the pins are partially plated, what is the ratio of plated to non-plated area? (My assumption is that the thickness of the plating (several μm) goes up the "walls" of the pins as well, but the rest of the 0.2mm is mostly just bare copper...yes?

Thanks,

Darren
