MMWCAS-RF-EVM: Data Collection using AWR1243 cascaded RADAR

Hi TI Team, 

We are trying to bring-up the board and capture the data from AWR1243 cascaded RADAR as  per the steps given in the "mmwavestudio_cascade_user_guide.pdf". We are able to flash the image in sensorboard and powered up master and slave devices. We are following GUI Based configuration in mmwaveStudio guide. In capturing data section in guide, we are trying to follow steps but "FRAMING" frame triggering is not happening. We are facing difficulty in understanding cascade user guide for frame capture.

Could you please help on how to capture data using mmwave studio for cascaded device?

Please help to find out the example application for the same.

    Please find the steps followed by us for board bring-up

    1. Open MMWave studio.

    2. Select cascaded system

    3. Select TDAxx capture card. Connect and configure. Connected successfully.(updated as Disconnect)

    4. select operating frequency as 77GHz and device variant as XWR12xx

    5. Select C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00\mmWaveStudio\Scripts\Cascade\Cascade_Configuration_TestSource.lua and Run! the script.
    6. Image downloaded successfully but we are gettting the following error in output

    Could you please help, any step we missed in the above sequence?

    Hi Sudharshan, 

    Can you please identify which version of the MMWCAS-RF-EVM you are working with? As described in the MMWCAS-RF-EVM User Guide, the Revision D of the board is assembled with AWR2243 devices. These devices are not compatible with the mmWave Studio 2.x or DFP 1.x. If you have a Revision D board, please request access to the MMWCAS-STUDIO-2G found here: https://www.ti.com/tool/MMWAVE-STUDIO
