TMP75: Accuracy performance of TMP75

Part Number: TMP75
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP116, TMP112, TMP1075

Hi team,

My customer is using our TMP75 for their design.

Would like to consult with you how do we make sure the accuracy of  sensor  during manufacturing.

Therefore, they proposed two method for us to confirm.

1. IQC sampling inspection

l   Please ask sensor vender to provide jig to verify accuracy.

l   Please have sampling inspection for incoming material.

2. On line inspection:

l   To ask vender to provide one well calibrated sensor jig.

l   To allow this jib put into  ME housing.

l   To verify difference between the jig with production set.

Thanks.

  • Hi Feng,

We're not able to share details of TI's production testing. We use liquid calibration baths and calibrated PRT probes to perform validation and characterization of our products in development. TMP75 is not a very demanding device in terms of accuracy, but it's specifications are still better than or comparable to a common thermocouple. Therefore, a thermocouple couldn't be used to verify it.

We guarantee the accuracy of our temperature sensors with 100% testing. If TMP75 does not meet your customer's requirement, we have several products that are more accurate than TMP75 such as TMP1075, TMP112, and TMP116.

    thanks,

    ren
