OPT3002EVM: Error “Unable to Locate the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine” occurs when try to use OPT3002EVM software

Hi Team 

My customer was trying to use OPT3002EVM software so he downloaded from TI's website. 

https://www.ti.com/tool/OPT3002EVM

After installing, when he opened OPT3002EVM software, error message “Unable to Locate the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine” occurs.

So he downloaded Lab view from NI but the same error message still occurs after that.

Here's the version information he used.

LabView：LabView2020

Windows：Windows10 1909

Please let me know what should I check with the customer. Thanks.

    Hi,

    The labview runtime engine is needed and needs to match the version mentioned in the error. Can you share the error message?

    Thanks for your reply. First picture shows the error message. It says it need version 2014 or compatible version. 

    BTW, I got new response from the customer. 

    He said he reinstalled the software by selecting  "LabVIEW RTE" option again(as shown in second picture below), but it still went wrong. 

    After that, he confirmed the "Readme" file and there was a download link for version 2014.

    And It worked normally after he downloaded version 2014.

    But I am wondering how could it not work when selecting  "LabVIEW RTE" option when installing or use the newest version(since it should be compatible with version 2014 )
