Hello
Please provide more information and the mmWave device you are using along with DCA1000.
Thank you,
Vaibhav
Could you see the picture I provided before? And I am trying to get the mmWave chipset information from the professor.
Thank you!
Hello Laura,
We can't see the picture you've attached. Could you please try again?
Regards,
Ishita
Hello Laura,
You mentioned about a picture in your previous reply. Nevertheless, could you please provide some information on the issue you are facing?
Regards,
Ishita
One of the chipsets on the board is damaged. The affected area becomes hot and gives off a hot smell. The board will not recognize the previously mentioned chipsets that it should.
Hello Laura,
Have you used this board previously for any development activities or is it the first time you're using it?
Also, what was the power supplied to the device on boot up?
Regards,
Ishita
Hello Laura,
Thanks for the information. Just one more question, what was the rating of the power supplied to the device? Was it a 5V supply?
Regards,
Ishita
The professor reports that they did indeed use a 5V power supply and it work initially with no issues.
I reached out to customer service but have not heard anything more back from them. I keep getting emails asking if I accept the proposed solution but I have not seen a fully written out solution yet. So I can't say if I accept or decline said solution.
HI,
I will close this thread. Will provide you more information through private communication
Thank you
