Part Number: AWR2243BOOST

HI,

I am interested in procuring a AWR2243BOOST for my research work.

After going over the information online I understand that I can use AWR2243BOOST to perform FFT for range, Doppler and angle computation.

1. What I don't understand is whether I get the raw data or there are some pre-programmed files that perform the above functions and display the range and Doppler information on GUI. Do I need the DCA1000 to get raw data?

2. How do I download the raw data to do post processing?

3. What is the exact function of the MMWAVE-DEVPACK?

    Hi

The AWR2243 is a sensor only device. This means that it does not have integrated processing to perform fft...

If you want to use the AWR2243BOOST you will need also a DCA1000 board to capture the raw data.

The raw data will be provided in .bin files that can be post processed with Matlab, Python, C ...

MmWave Studio integrates some predefined Matlab functions that can be used for post processing

    Thank you

    Cesar

    Hi,

    That was very useful.

I would like to know the functionality of the DEVPACK.

    Regards,

The DEVPACK is an interface board that can be used to configure the sesnsor using mmWave Studio. However it does not allow to capture data.

    Thank you

Also, the MMWVE DEVPACK board is no longer sold by TI

It has been replaced by the DCA1000

    thank you
