In reply to Eduard Sammereier:
Hello Jan and Eduard,
I recommend using the ARM compiler version 5.2.6 if you are starting with the example firmware. Here is a post that describes how to install an old version of the ARM compiler:
Note you will still have to select the runtime support library file manually, or you can add it to the compiler folder.

In reply to Scott Cummins:
the list of installable software is empty (see picture). Waht can i do?
If you can't see the ARM compiler tools in the available sites, you may need to manually add it. Click on "Add..." and you can enter this link for the ARM compiler:

at the moment your site is not available....
I would start another thread in the CCS forum to ask about this. I am not sure why the sites are not showing up in your program, and I am not very familiar with dedicated CCS questions. Please reach out to the CCS experts, and they should be able to help you. I will of course be able to help with any PGA970 related questions in the meantime.
is it possible to transfer code to other development tools, for example Keil µVision?
Because of a lot problems here with Code Composer Studio, I must ask this question.
It looks like the list of update sites have been cleared. What exact version of CCS 10 are you using? CCS 10.0.0?
Did you read the CCS Forum Guidelines & FAQ? If not, PLEASE read it. If you haven't read it in awhile, please read it again to see if any updates were made.

In reply to Ki:
I want to use the latest version (10.0).
Because of lot of issue during migration from one to another Computer, I want to avoid migration whenever possible...
The old version 6.2 (which work on the old computer) have errors at the new computer, too.
It seems that it could be easier to transfer to other development tools than to upgrade the versions...
KiIt looks like the list of update sites have been cleared.
To resolve this issue, please download the extract the attached zip file:
Then follow the steps in section 9.3.1 in the link below:
Instead of using the zip file referenced in the article (which is for older CCS versions), use the one I attached earlier to this post.
