Looking for a simple SPI based temperature sensor

Hi,

I am looking for a simple SPI based temperature sensor to interface with a CPLD. Can anyone suggest the same. If possible, pls. suggest any DIP /SOT223 package which can be hand soldered.

Hello Arvind,

If you go to the link below, I have filtered out SPI-based products which are available in the SOT-23 package. Out of those I would suggest the TMP121 or TMP125.

OK Thanks. Do you also have a VHDL code of an SPI master which I could implement on an CPLD and interface th sensor tosee if it is working as per the requirements at my end.
