LMT85: About Pin out of LMT84 / LMT85 / LMT86 / LMT87 (DCK package)

Part Number: LMT85

hi,

Is the correct functional behaviour of LMT85-Q1 impacted if inadvertently PIN5 has been connected to VDD instead of GND? if yes, to which extend?

thanks,

Ulrike

  • Hello Ulrike,

If Pin 5 is connected to VDD I can imagine there would be a resulting short circuit and current draw will be high, or if you completely swap VDD and GND in your connection then the device would be operating outside the maximum supply rating at a negative voltage. In either case, the device will not work as specified and may be damaged.

    Regards,
