OPT3002: Multiple OPT3002 on I2C

Dear Sir, 

I would like to use 48 OPT3002 in my project. Others than using I2C switches/multiplexer. Could I use

1. PCF8545 IO expander to toggle the OPT3002 to right address and accessing it? 

2. Is OPT3002 is dynamic addressing which is changing the address bit without reset/repower system?

    Hi Chian,

    1) I cannot find this device. Can you link to it? Can you also explain a bit more, it sounds like you want to modify the address pin setting. This needs to be shorted to one of the 4 OPT pins to select the address so I'm not sure how this would work.

    2) no it determines the address at power up

    For my understanding is there a specific issue with using I2C multiplexers/switches?
