TMP117: TMP117 extended temperature & accuracy

Regarding the time in which I2C communications occurs - this would depend entirely on the frequency being used for the SCL line, and the configuration settings of the part (using one shot vs. averaging, etc.)

While we can acknowledge we have seen the device continue to operate below -55C, no complete characterization and qualification has been performed to support making any official claim of operation below -55C. At this point in time, you will need to characterize and qualify the device for yourself at those temperatures, keeping in mind that you are operating outside of the current recommended operating conditions.

This part (and any other released TI part) should last equally long at any temperature within the recommended operating range. We don't have a spec for hours of operation for this device, like what you might find with a device that have a radio transmitter inside.
