IWR1843BOOST: Traffic monitoring GUI

Hello,

I've taken some traffic monitoring measurements with industrial toolbox 4.1.0 and used 18xx_68xx_traffic_monitoring GUI to see the results which are stored in .txt format. Since some features are different for 16xx_traffic_monitoring, I would like to be able to use it for my data. I saw that, for the play back mode, it requires radar data as fHist files (in .mat format).

I tried to convert my text files to .mat format but it didn't work when I upload it to the GUI. I'd like to get some help about how to solve this issue - being able to use my radar data (.txt) for 16xx GUI.

     Are you trying to use the 16xx GUI to  68xx data?

    Basically, it can be seen from below images that 16xx GUI has various visual features, and more detailed plots compared to 18xx_68xx GUI.

    I'd like to be able to use 16xx GUI play back for my 18xx radar data. Therefore, would like to know how to convert the data for it.

    Hello

    The data formats for the respective demo/labs are explained the Tirex/dowloads/UG area.

    You would  have to understand and adapt the required changes.

    Although the format may be different, overall similar data is sent out by the two demos it the gui that makes use of the data to demonstrate required visualization.  You may notice that the gui for 16xx keeps history to show the trajectory over time.
