No direct technical support?

There used to be a way to access technical support directly.  Now it seems it is through this forum which seems as though the comments might not be accurate with respect to specific parts.  Perhaps I'm missing something on the TI website.  I don't want to use a forum to ask specific questions about a TI part.

    TI's E2E Forum is for application questions involving TI devices.

    The Forum replies are the responsibility of the individual product groups within TI.
    Product group application engineers and managers are the ones who reply to posted questions.
    This is as direct support as you can get in the industry.

    Forum routing is based on the part number or tool number entered at the beginning of creating a new question.
    Even if you don't have an exact match of a device, entering the number of a device that is close to what you need allows proper routing and fast replies.

    Customers and TI Field Engineers both use the forum because it goes direct to the product groups.

    First search the Forum for questions similar to yours.
    If none are found then Ask A New Question.
    And be sure to enter a part/tool number in the Thread Creation Form when it asks you to.
