Change email address and keep history?

Hi,

I'm a consultant about to leave a jobsite after 3 years. My E2E email address is through my current job and I'd like to change it to my own email address so I can keep my history when I leave. Is there a way to do that? Is there a way to have 2 emails listed so I can see it from both signons during the transition?

Thanks,

Lloyd

  • Hi Lloyd,

You can change your email address in the following way:

    1. Login to E2E normally.
    2. Click on your avatar in the top right hand corner of a page and choose Settings from the popout menu.
    3. You myTI E2E community preferences will display. Choose the E2E email preferences tab.
    4. At the top of page, you'll see your old email address with a link beside it that says Edit.
    5. Click Edit to update your email address.
    6. Click save at the bottom of the page.
    7. Log out of E2E and back into E2E and your new email address will propagate from myTI settings to E2E.

    Thanks

    Bill,

Oops - sorry, slight complication. I just checked and I have a TI account on my old email address which has not been active in over 5 years.

In my current account I have achieved Expert level, in my old account I have only 50 points. Can I merge them somehow and keep my current status and history?

If not, can I delete my old profile, then change my email address on this profile to the old one?

    Thanks for your help,
    Lloyd

Hi Lloyd, do you know the email address the old account was registered with? I can delete it and merge the posts to the new account.

  • In reply to William Traynor:

Sure. I'll send you a friend request so we can exchange it privately.

    Bill,
Just wanted to say thanks very much for sorting that out for me!
