Emails from E2E forum contain invalid links

Hi!

Just a quick note:

When I receive Emails from the forum, for example when I post a new message,

the images in the mail are not displayed. This is because the images link to not (any more) existing files.

Maybe someone could fix this, it will look much better :)

These images are referenced in the mail but do not work on the server:

404-Error:

http://www.ti.com/webemail/graphics/platform_bar_blackR-560px.gif

http://e2e.ti.com/notification/read?NotificationId=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

Returns an html page, not a gif:

http://www.ti.com/corp/graphics/spacer.gif

This is purely for aesthetics, so very low priority.

Best regards,

 Manuel Köppen

  • WYSIWYG does not always work either :)

What I wrote about the read notification got lost.

I guess it saves the notification info and then it actually returns an invalid gif, truncated to 53 byte. Mime type is correct image/gif.

  • Hi ,

Thanks for raising this.  This is actually a known problem and is on my list to be addressed.  We are in the process of reviewing and updating the email templates, so this should be resolved shortly.
