How to Quote a Member's Response

Some of your coworkers at TI quote my question and follow it with a answer. The quotation begins with my name, then followed by the quotation, and then it is all surrounded by a dashed box. How is that done? Shown below is an example.

  • I just figured out how to quote somebody.

    To add a quotation:

    • Click Reply to open the text editor.
    • Click Quote to insert a copy of the post which you are replying to.

The inserted quote will begin with a pair of square brackets which enclose a quote user tag and is appended by the member's name. And the quote will end with square brackets which contain the tag /quote.

    • Remove parts of the quote which you do not want in your response.
    • Add the text of your reply before and after the quotation.
    • Click Post to make your reply.
