Pause a case

I want to "pause"  a case because I will be away on leave for some time so I will not answer any more. Is it possible to somehow set this on the post or my account?

    Hello Kathrin,

      A thread/case will remain accessible for 30 days, after 30 days of no activity, it will automatically lock.  It is still accessible to view, just not for follow-on activity.  If you are away longer than 30 days and the thread is locked, either post the inquiry in a new thread, referencing the old, or, post a new request to unlock it, similar to what you have done here.
