I do not get an answer on my "Request access to sample program"

I have tried two times to get access to the sample program.

I filled out the forms and at the end I get the message:

"A confirmation will be sent to >>my eMail-Adress<<  with the service request number.
    You can expect a response within 2 business days."

But I do not get any confirmation-eMail and no response.

Is my University on a blacklist or is simply something wrong with the website?

    Hello, can you provide the link to where you're filling out the form to "Request access to sample program"?
  • In my Ti-Account I get the Message:
    "We apologize for the inconvenience, but your myTI account has not been approved to request free samples. To learn more about TI’s sample program >>click here<<."

    This "click here" leads me to: www.ti.com/.../Sample_request.html

    There is a five step-list with instructions.

    Step 1 – Create or login to your myTI account using a corporate email domain. The TI store does not allow sample orders from free email domains such as @gmail.
    Step 2 – Click >>here<< for the samples program request form.
    Step 3 – Select “Request access to TI’s sample program”.
    Step 4 – Complete and submit the form.
    Step 5 – You will be notified by email within 5 business days if you are approved for samples or if you need to purchase your devices from the TI store.


    The "here" in the Step 2 leads me to: http://www.ti.com/supportform
    There I filled out the form with the questions.

    I understand that you were contacted by the manager of the TI Samples program outside of E2E. With that taken into consideration, I'm going to go ahead and mark this as resolved.
  • I had no contact with anyone except now with you. The other was a web page form.
    I expected that I would get an email or any feedback after I had completed this web page form, but nothing happened. That's a bit strange.
  • Okay, now I get an answer.

    "At this time, your request to order free samples has been declined, as the university or college you attend is not currently supported under the TI sample program."

    We ordered our components via Mouser, so I do not need this samples, but the background-information to this is nice to know.

    It would be interesting for me if the university is not recognized as such because the website address (b-tu.de) has changed after the merger of the two universities or perhaps too much was sampled.
    In the past, Ti accepted this university for the sample program. I ordered only once with the former eMail-address and university-link.

    Please reply to the email that was sent indicating that the samples were declined. This forum is for sit support of E2E only. The samples program is a separate program and they'd be able to answer your question.
