Hello expert,

My customer has a new request for SPST for RS232 RI application, could you kindly provide a suitable solution for it? RI signal could be +/- 15V. Thanks a lot!

    Hi Ann,

    The TMUX6121 and its related family of parts (TMUX6122, TMUX6123) can all meet this requirement. Since the signals can be between -15 and +15 volts these are our best switches for the application that come closest to the correct configuration - as all of our mid-voltage 1:1 switches are at least 2 channels. 

    For an unused channel it can be left floating or if you are worried about reflections due to impedance mismatches than the unused channel can be terminated with 50 Ohm resistors to ground.
