TS3A27518E: Maximum Trace Length

Part Number: TS3A27518E

Hi All,

The customer wants to know the signal trace length limitation of TS3A27518E.
Since the DS didn't have a specific constrain for it.
Based on your experience, may I know about this part?
I also find similar questions but the link didn't mention either.

Thank you.

  • This device is a passive analog switch, and behaves like a 4.4 Ω resistor inserted into the trace. The switch itself does not care about the trace length.

  • Hi Chia,

As Clemens mentioned this device doesn't care about trace length itself.

The channel is modeled as an RC circuit - with R being the On resistance (typically 4.4 Ohms at a 3.3V supply) and the capacitor to ground being the on capacitance which is 21.5pF typically at 3.3.V supply.  Besides that the IC does not care about trace length.

If you have any other questions please let me know!

    Best,

    Parker Dodson
