SN74CBTLV3257: looking lower propagation delay

Dear team,

Could you help to find 2:1(SPDT) analog switch with lower propagation delay?

Current solution is SN74CBTLV3257 on our board but Tdp is 1.8~5.3ns at 3.3V application. Our target is 1~2ns of Tpd.

  • An analog switch, when closed, behaves like a resistor. To reduce the propagation delay, choose a switch with a lower on-resistance and/or a lower capacitance.

    Anyway, the search function shows the bandwidth of each device. The TMUX1574 has 2 GHz (compared to the SN74CBTLV3257's 200 MHz).

    We have several devices that will fit your use case. For a sub-nanosecond propagation delay, 2:1x4 mux, please see the below recommendations:

    1) SN74CB3Q3257 - 0.32ns max delay at 3.3V (pin-to-pin replacement)

    2) TMUX1574 - 95ps typical across voltage (pin-to-pin replacement)

    3) TMUX1575 - 60ps typical across voltage (similar device to the TMUX1574, but in a WCSP package - smallest package solution)
