TMUX1574: VIH/VIL for signal input

Part Number: TMUX1574

Dear team,

Is there any VIH/VIL limitation of signal input(Dx pins)?

I found there is logic input spec in datasheet (VIH=1.2~5.5V/ VIL=0~0.45V), Is this only for logic input?( VEN/SEL)

I want to double confirm if below application is good or not.

- VIL =0.6V/ VIH= 1.5V

Thanks,

Ben

  • Hi Ben,

The VIH/VIL threshold voltages in the datasheets are only applicable for the logic/control pins like EN/SEL.

For the signal voltage on switch channels, VS (Sx pins) or VD (Dx pins), please refer to table 6.3 for recommended voltage levels. The allowable signal voltage will depend on the supply voltage of the application and can be easily calculated based on the specification in table 6.3.

    Hope this helps clarify.

    Thank you,

    Regards,
    Sandesh
