Hi Experts,
Good day.
I would like to confirm if the device SN74CBTLV16292 pins' B-sides and A-sides can be configured as inputs and outputs respectively?
Is it possible? Thank you.
Regards,
Archie A.

Hi Archie,
The SN74CBTLV16292 device is a passive switch and supports bi-directional communication from A to Bx and Bx to A depending on the select (S) pin logic. Please note that there is an internal 500ohm termination resistor on the B-side when the channel is not in use.
For example:
When S is Low, A port is connected to B1 port and these are open for bi-directional communication. During this time B2 port is terminated to GND through the 500ohm resistor.
When S is High, A port is connected to B2 port and these are open for bi-directional communication. During this time B1 port is terminated to GND through the 500ohm resistor.
Hope this answers your question.
Thank you,
Regards,
