RF switch

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1574, TMUX136, TMUX646, TMUX1575

Hi team,

Do you have 915MHZ RF Switch IC?

Thanks!

  • Hi Zoe,

The WI team does not have RF switch IC. You can try the Interface group on the muxes and switches to see if they have products that can be used for your applications.

  • Hey Zoe,

We don't generally consider our switches as "RF" since that requires some specialized specifications such as insertion loss, IP3, return loss, etc. all of which are more characteristics necessary to know for end equipment such as antennas. Additionally, typically this would require more power to be passed through the chip. Our devices are more low power, lower current CMOS devices that are meant more for analog and digital signal chain.

That being said, we do have devices that can support 915MHz, depending on the application. In this case we would typically recommend selecting a device with a bandwidth that is 1.5-3x the signal speed. We would call this devices more of a 'high bandwidth' switch rather than an RF switch though.
TMUX136 (6GHz), TMUX646(6GHz), TMUX1574 (2GHz), TMUX1575 (1.8GHz) are all high bandwidth devices that may fit. Note that these only support up to ~5-10V I/O pass through, depending on the device and the current supported is in the order of 10's of mA's. With more information on what you're looking to do with the switch we may be able to find a proper device, but for general RF switches, we may not be able to provide anything here.

    Thanks,
    Rami
