TMUX1574: MUX between an High Speed differential-pair and 2 single-end LVCMOS clock

Hi TI Support Team,

I would like to use the TMUX1574 to multiplex a differential pair at 1.25Gbps with two single-end low frequency signals LVCMOS 1.8V as indicated in the figure below:

The bandwidth is 2GHz however in typical applications there is the multiplexing between low frequency and single end signals such as SPI, JTAG, UART, I2C etc. Why?

Is the signal level compatible with both LVCMOS and LVDS ?

Hello,

This device is a good pick for applications in high frequency applications. The typical applications section just highlights one such scenario of using this device, and does not cover every different application. In addition, SPI is not necessary low speed as it is technically limited only by the system itself.

The TMUX1574 can support signals up to 5.5V, so as long as your signals are below that, there will not be an issue.
