Hello,
I'm not familiar with what is mean by Q-SWITCH. Could you provide more information on the parameter? Is there a certain frequency and voltage range you're looking for?
From what i've been able to find, it seems that Q-switching is done in the kHz range which the devices should be able to handle. However, if my understanding is correct Q-switching is done with high voltage (kiloVolts) which these devices cannot handle. Once again though, i'm not familiar with the parameters for Q-switching so if you could provide more context here I will be better able to help you.
Thanks,
Rami
Hello Rami,
I am not sure what Q-SWITCH is, but it was given as the description for the part. The complete description we have is "IC,LOG,Q-SWITCH,TSSOP,SN74CBT3306,BUS".
I am not sure whether it is quad switch or something else. However, I would like you to confirm whether it is anyhow related to the parts or not.
Thank you.
Yedu,
I personally haven't seen the description 'Q-Switch' be used for a switch that has 4 channels. That being said, the SN7474CBT3125 is a 'quadruple switch' (4channel switch ; This device in particular is a 1:1 configuration) so perhaps someone labeled it as Q-switch hoping it would be understood and there was a copy and paste error in the description for the SN74CBT3306. The 3306 is a 2 channel switch not a 4 channel. Both are 1:1 (SPST) devices.
Thanks,
Rami
