TMUX6209: Device confirmation

Hello Team,

Can you confirm if the device TMUX6209 (TMUX620x family) is latch-up immune? 

The datasheet section 9.3.6 on page 32 says the part is latch-up immune, however, (1) the description and datasheet name for TMUX620x does not include "latch-up immune." (2) The "Latch-up immune" is also not listed under section 1 Features in the datasheet. and lastly, (3) Table 3-1 in this document does not list any TMUX6xxx part numbers: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/scda029a/scda029a.pdf

    Hi Renan,

    The TMUX620x family is latch up immune as indicated by the detailed description section. Page 1 is essentially a promotional page for the part and doesn't necessarily explain all the features/benefits of every part.

    Latch-up immunity is a critical feature for our applications. We have been using equivalent parts only from one of your competitors because their parts are latch-up immune. It would be good to clearly promote this feature for TI parts that have it.
