SN74CBT3245C: Ok for JTAG protocol?

Part Number: SN74CBT3245C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74CB3Q3244

Team,

Can you please confirm if the SN74CBT3245C is ok for JTAG protocol (ie single digit MHz range, 3.3V interface)?
Any other 8ch that could be suited for JTAG?

The MUX highligted for JTAG on TI.COM are listed below but there are no 8ch today. Do we plan to have 8ch TMUX15xx?

Thanks in advance,

  • Hi AnBer,

The SN74CBT3245C requires a minimum VCC supply voltage of 4V but the control pin logic is 3.3V compatible. It has a bandwidth of 200MHz so it meets your single digit MHz requirement.

The SN74CB3Q3244 is another option which operates off of a 3.3V VCC supply and meets your logic voltage/speed requirements.

We do not have an 8 channel TMUX15xx.

    Thanks,

    Tyler
