SN74CBT16210C: Datasheet clarification

Part Number: SN74CBT16210C

Hi Experts,

Would you kindly help clarify this inquiry?

Page 3 of the datasheet mentioned the absolute ON state switch current is 128mA. However, note 4 mentioned this value is under specific conditions. Can you elaborate more about this "specific condition"?

The customer needs 5V 600mA peak current (100mA average current) to go through this switch, and plans to use 5 ports of this switch to achieve this goal. Hopefully, using 5 ports of the switch can also minimize the effective ON resistance. This 5V 600mA peak current actually is the 5V VDD of the next-level PCB. This next-level PCB uses TI's TLV1117LV33, which has dropout voltage 455mA. That is the next-level PCB can allow the VDD to be in the range of 3.8-5V.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Marvin
