Hi Team,

What is the difference between SN74LVC1G3157DCK3 vs SN74LVC1G3157DCKR

Currently, my customer is using SN74LVC1G3157DCKR and we are looking for alternates due to supply constraints.

    Different lead frame plating (Tin and Bismuth), and non-"green" flame retardants (Antimony trioxide, Bromine). There are no electrical differences.

    Hi Omar,

    This difference in these devices is that the "3" version has SNBI lead finishing (versus NIPDAU) and it is not "green" which TI defines as below:

    "TI defines "Green" to mean “Pb-Free” and free of Bromine (Br) and Antimony (Sb) based flame retardants where Br or Sb do not exceed 0.1% by weight in the homogeneous material."

    To be clear, there is not difference in performance of the device itself, just the materials used to create the device.
