TS3A4742: Customer is asking which package is popular in TI?

TS3A4742DCNR is the orderable part number for the TS3A4742 part in the DCN package. The other package option for this device is the DGK package (orderable part TS3A4742DGKR).  We have an FAQ explaining the naming conventions for our multiplexers: [FAQ] What are TI's Signal Switch/Multiplexer Naming Conventions?

The performance will be the same with either package and both are recommended for new designs. The DCN packaged version has a smaller footprint and will save space on the customers board. Please note that the pinout changes between each version:
