Hi,

Part Number  : SN74CB3T3245;  which has absolute maximum rating for Vcc = 7V.

But the recommended rating and waveform given for 2.3V(min) to 3.6V(max).

We have planned to supply 5V for Vcc, is the device okay for 5V vcc supply?

    Hi Gokul,

    The level shifting for this device is pretty dependent on the VCC. Shifting the VCC to 5V is not recommended as the behavior is not characterized at those voltages and we cannot anticipate what the exact type of level shifting will occur.

    If you truly need a 5V rail, you can look at our SN74CBTD3861 which has similar level shifting capability and can take a 5V rail.
