TMUX136: HD-SDI & CVBS signal switch

Part Number: TMUX136

I HAVE RELATED QUESTION REGARDING SWITCHING OF ANALOG (CVBS) & DIGITAL (3G-SDI) Video signal upto 2 channel max. I have 2 HD-BNC Connector on board wherein either CVBS (PAL) or SD/HD/3G-SDI video source may be connected. If it is CVBS signal, then it should be routed from HD-BNC connector to Video Decoder IC (ADV7181C) else it should be routed to SDI Cable Equalizer (M23554) IC. Switch selection is  through software (FPGA).

  • Hey Ankit,

What are the voltage and frequency of the waveforms you'll be trying to pass through the mux?
TMUX136 could work here. It's a higher bandwidth device, 2 channel 2:1 device. You may not need the second channel if I'm understanding the request properly.

I will let you know as well, we are currently on thanksgiving holiday here in the US and will be back on Monday, 11/28.

    Thanks,
    Rami
