We have design based on TMUX6219

We need to switch 2 CH 60mA to Output

We try to drive SEL pin with 1.8V (FPGA Pin voltage constraint) with no success

When we drive it with 3.3V the switch work well

What can be the problem ?

Data sheet :

IS there any EVB for that Chip ?

Hey Meir,

Definitely not the behavior we'd expect. Can you send over any scope shots of the waveforms? The AGND, SEL, and I/O's will be a good starting point.

Hi Rami,

We didn't take risk and put level shifter - SN74LVC8T245MDWREP 1.8V to 3.3V

IS that Schematic will improve the port Drive ? and improve mux switching ?

The SEL input is buffered; any voltage that is read high (i.e., any voltage above 1.3 V) will have the same effect.

Can you double-check the voltage at the SEL pin, and that you actually have a TMUX6219?

Hi Meir,

As Rami and Clemens mentioned, please help send any scope shots of the signals going into the SEL pin and also take a direct measurement of the voltage seen at this pin to make sure you are actually providing 1.8V.
