The CBT3T device clamps the output voltage to V_CC if the input voltage is higher than V_CC, or to V_CC − 1 V otherwise. Use it if you want this clamping.

The CBTLV is a plain analog switch using transmission gates. Use it for any signals ≤ V_CC.
